KIZZY ROCK & THE J-TEAM
Producer, Artist, Songwriter, & Bass King Pioneer DJ Kizzy Rock hails from Gresham Park, a town located on the East Side of Atlanta where he started out doing gigs at local neighborhood parties before being introduced to the legendary King Edward J who owned a shop in East Atlanta famously known for "The J Team" mixtapes.
From there DJ Kizzy Rock began making tapes centered around Atlanta's rap scene while working venues around the city such as The Gate, Club 559, Sharon's Showcase, and the historical Club XS which was home to a
'Soul Train-esque' dance party show called "Atlanta Jams" that was syndicated on Channel WATL Fox 36 in the early 1990's.

In 1993, DJ Kizzy Rock's music career began as pivotal member of Decatur's own A-Town Players which included Playa Poncho & DJ Boneé.
Known for his signature Bass sound, Kizzy Rock's distinctive 808's and catchy 'Planet Rock' style drums took over air waves of local radio stations earning him a record deal with Tommy Boy, and his first debut album in 1995 titled "Can't Stop The Rock." which quickly became a classic, opening the doors for what would later be known as the "Crunk" era.
